Hubert's GIC rates went down, not unexpectedly. Their email isn't quite correct, there should be "changed" asterisks on the 2 and 3 year rates as well - everything went down except the quarterly. Nice to see they didn't use this as an excuse to keep that big 55bps gap between it and the 1-year.
Fortunately, I got my FHSA 1-year at 5.75 before this hit.
