Just switching over to a Mac. Have found so far only on Hubert, once you select download statement and download the PDF it only shows on screen and does not create a file to save in your Download file folder.

Any hints?

If it is indeed a PDF, you should be able to save it when it shows on the screen with the usual Command+S keyboard shortcut or "Save As" menu item (I think).

Macs have some built-in PDF capabilities. Safari for one will often use them to display a PDF in-browser, rather than downloading and launching a viewer program. You can right-click the original PDF link and download as a file with the "Download Linked File" options. Or once you are viewing it in a browser frame, right-click in the PDF content and choose "Open In Preview", and you'll get the PDF file in Preview, where you can save it if you want. If the browser opens the PDF directly as an URL, you can usually just do a Cmd-S (File/Save) and save the PDF where you like.

Personally, I find PDFs on Mac much nicer than on Windows... :)

Another question. I have always used TurboTax and like the bring forward features. I usually buy at Costco when the price gets reduced....some how I missed the $6 off this year.
I still have a PC laptop but want to sell both. I assumed if I bought Turbo Tax that is would be similar to the PC version.
1. I see the Mac version is more expensive, does it go on sale?
2. Would it bring forward my info I transferred the PC files to the Mac?
3. I see the Mac version is called online, does that mean the file info is in a cloud or? And not on the Mac itself. If the latter....I don't care for.
4. Based on my assumption, yet to be confirmed, is there an alternative that will do joint returns, income splitting and move health claims to the more appropriate tax file. And bring forward my turbo tax info?

This is probably not the answer but this happened to me on a PC and it was because the download screen has a drop down menu with "View your Statement" as the default. I had to select the "Download Your Statement" from the menu first. Their scheme is a bit different than other institutions.

Thanks.....I fumble on that every now and then. My new question was in regards to Turbo Tax.
