Tomorrow (March 27), Hubert is increasing the rate on their one-year term.

Today, the average rate is 2.20%. Tomorrow, the average will be 2.40%.

We received that ⬆ email from Hubert earlier today, but I didn't bother to post it.

Needless to say, it will still leave Hubert quite far down the list.

Hubert still needs to have people able and willing to borrow the money we deposit in order to support higher rate.

However, I keep mostly cash in MB, and very little in GICs.

Not unlikely that rating of Manitoba will be downgraded by the credit agencies?
