So it sounds like if you deposit $26000, you would will earn 2.05% on 1st tier $24999 and 2.60% on remaining $1001. Another sleazy "up to" but never happening offer. This sleaziness is starting to spread!

If you deposit 25 thousand you get the 2.6% on full balance. The bonus interest is same on all balances but the regular interest rate is .55% less on balances under 25 K

It's either 2.05% or 2.60% on entire account balance depending on the daily closing balance. However, the 1.55% promotion bonus rate is limited to new money up to $1 million.
