Are you dealing directly with the bank? Or thru some middle party?
Flds, welcome to the forum. You are doing the right thing to ask your question here.
hwyc has asked a very pertinent question with regards to your contact with respect to UBS Bank Canada.
I highly recommend you contact UBS Canada directly at (416) 343-1800 and discuss with them the information you have. Visit UBS Canada website and scroll down to the 'Attention' message to learn about UBS awareness of fraudulent and phishing attempts by third parties claiming to be a representative of UBS Bank.
Be aware there is an active investigation going on at UBS to track this activity. They would like to hear from you to either reassure you about your information or to let you know it is fraudulent.
Please let us know here the answer to hwyc's question.
Good luck.

hwyc, Some guy called and sent me an email with the rates and sent me a brochure of UBS bank. When I went to the banks website I could not find the rates. So I am not sure if this guy is a third party and a staff member of UBS bank. I had a number of questions, only one I was doubtful of his answer. He mentioned that the bank does not do transfer from one Institution to another. Being an international bank I had some doubts. Most banks and CU do online transfers. That's the reason I had this question on this forum.
