Anyone that can pinpoint peak and trough and accurate within 2 weeks for the past 50 years will be a multi billionaire, if not a trillionaire.

I want to know where I can buy that crystal ball or that time machine, maybe ebay or aliexpress....

Guess it can also be a case of the fortune teller who can tell "other people's" fortune to 100% accuracy and help them prosper, just cant help one self somehow...Blame it on fate...

I usually do not advocate buying the scotch guard" on the new couch or paying extra to increase the natural warranty period on products, but if I may, you may want to check into increased purchasing protection on your crystal ball. 🙂

....but I'm hoping you might speculate as to when you see things peaking based on what you know now. I will not hold you to your predictions ...

Let’s put it this way the Airplane just took off and is gaining altitude to reach 35000 feet “3.50% rate” then Ladies and gentlemen, we are now at our cruising altitude of 35000 feet."3.50%” now It's time to kick back and wait for that refreshment cart to come around. At that time many of us have stopped to wonder why planes go this high up in the first place? not higher? why not lower?

Tommy, I like your optimism and am not doubting that you have some insight here. I know you've said you can pinpoint within two weeks, but I'm hoping you might speculate as to when you see things peaking based on what you know now. I will not hold you to your predictions, but would be curious to see if your thoughts mirror my own, and why you think so. Thank you!

Probably rates will peak March 2024 but I can tell before rates peak. I'll know months before they peak. Rates will fall into the end of this year only to rise again at the start of 2023.

By all means, please elaborate on why you feel that there will be a rate plateau at the end of this year and another rise in 2023.

Many Rumors BOC will have another big Rate increase July 13th as inflation is not getting under control.
"Some economists say a forceful action could mean a 75-basis-point increase in the next round or on July 13, 2022. Meanwhile, Canadian banks are raising more funds through the sale of corporate bonds, and the level is now $168 billion — a $15 billion increase from a year ago."

The midterm elections are this November in America. This is what I see as a certainty knowing how things function in America. Just watch how it plays out from now to around February 2023 and you'll see what I mean. Social security cost of living allowance for 2023 is based on the October 2022 CPI figure so that's certain to be low and the midterms are in November so inflation will fall into the midterms only to spike again starting in January 2023.

I'll be here to tell everyone when rates have peaked at least a few weeks before they peak.

I don’t see a situation where inflation drops and spikes back up. I would really like to know what is so obviously going to cause this spike?

For myself, I just don't trust those crystal balls and fortune tellers ... I think their just a bunch o' Hooey

I'm convinced that it's Far better to just 'Go There', and see for yourself . . .

When I'm back, I'll let you know what I found.

Kinda reminds me of the regular conversation I had for years with my mother ...

She: "I knew that would happen."
I: "Oh?"
She: "All you had to do was ask." or "You need to listen when I speak."
