Ratehub indicates that Parama offers 2.75% for a one year non reg GIC.

As far as I am aware, Parama insists on a personal visit to one of their branches to open an account, so does Ratehub act as a broker to preclude the branch visit?

Curiously, the Parama website special offer page advertises 2.75% as their rate for registered accounts and names that promo page on their website as "Ratehub" in the URL address.

I've always been puzzled by Parama's marketing strategies and would hope Parama Polly might clarify what they are indeed offering, through what channel(s) and to whom.

I hope their BOD's might broaden their horizons in the same way other ethnic CU's have done and make it a whole lot easier to do business with them.

I think Parama is open bond, is it not?

It's a guess as I've not done business with them, but I think ratehub does act as a deposit broker as GICDirect. You probably can join Parama through their auspices.
