For those interested in USD GICs, effective today ICICI Bank Canada lowered their non-redeemable USD GIC rates at the shorter end (12, 15, and 18 months) but increased at the longer end (3, 4, and 5 years).

Here are the new and old () rates:

6 Months: 5.00% (5.00%)
9 Months: 5.15% (5.15%)
1 Year: 5.00% (5.40%)
15 Months: 5.00% (5.25%)
18 months: 5.00% (5.15%)
2 Years: 5.00% (5.00%)
3 Years: 4.75% (4.20%)
4 Years: 4.75% (4.20%)
