How much do gic brokers get

Right now, GICWealth only shows 2.7 for DUCA, except, oddly, for RIF (2.8).
Even so, there is a minimum of 25K.

However, if you want to try this, why don't you just go ahead and report the result? That would be providing some actual information.

The customary deposit brokerage commission is ¼% (25 bps) for each year of the GIC's term. Deposit brokers can give up some of the 25 bps in return for a higher rate on the GIC sold.
One could ask. But, that 25 bps per annum could also be what the branch is credited for selling the GIC. The branch would need motivation to hand that 25 bps over to the GIC investor.
