If I was to buy a GIC from my adviser that represents Edward Jones. He can sell me a GIC from Coast Capital as a security. This means that it is bought on my behalf and not in my name.
Questions:
Is the GIC a different class
Is the GIC still insured by the Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation (CUDIC)
