Interesting.
Do you have a savings account for them to deposit this into?
If not, do they send a cheque? (Seems silly for such a small amount, but am wondering how they manage this.)

By default, you should already have a ‘Member Shares Held’ account for $50.

If you don’t have any saving account (i.e. Only have term GIC), then they will automatically open another account for your dividend (called ‘Member Dividends Account’) with $1.25 now.

Just double check your online account.

It appears that this offer has been removed from their website. I assume that it has ended. Best rate is now a 3 year 3%. 4 and 5 yr 1.75% and 2%.

All good things come to an end. It appears that, for now, there may be still be opportunities at 3.75% for 5 years at Duca and at Tandia, both Ontario CUs but, according to my sources, the Duca one also may disappear this week.

DUCA is already gone from what I can see. - down to 3.5

Such changes are to be expected after the end of "RSP season", alas.

Now, a lot of FIs seem to be pushing mortgage rates. Spring is coming.

You may still be able to get the 3.75 at DUCA through a broker if you look hard enough. Sometimes the broker gets a bit of an extension, depending on their relationship with the FI.
