Does anyone know where I could find a sample of a T4A OAS slip that has the basic amount for 2013? No claw back and no GIS.
Our OAS kicks in this year and I am trying to estimate how much I can with draw of our RRSP's in 2014. We will lose our CPP bridge which appears to be used for income splitting while I understand that CPP and OAS is cannot be used for income splitting. Our CPP bridge will be replaced by OAS. I am trying to do a mock income tax on Turbo Tax.
If the overall income is not as split-able should I consider to turn my wife's RRSP into a RRIF when she is 65 and then do a withdrawal? As I understand at age 65 you can do income splitting from a RRIF.

Also both my wife and I are 65 this year. I know you can get a RRIF at age 55 and up. You can do income splitting at age 65. Sooooo do my wife and I have to wait til we are 65, put the selected funds into a RIF and do the withdrawal after we are 65? How does that show when I do our income tax that we were over 65 when we did the withdrawal?

Kanaka:
My T4-OAS shows a total amount of $6579.06. Also, see here for what I think you are searching.
