Of course, this is about short-term rates, which is what I keep talking about, which is what the BoC sets. There is ongoing talk of long-term rates levelling or going higher. For that, markets seem slightly down or neutral overall at the moment, depending on medium to long term bonds, in spite of chatter and short-term movements. I have only presented short term info.

I think all of us here know BoC only sets overnight rates, essentially 30 day Tbill rates. The longer out one gets from 30 day Tbills, the more the market determines overall rates.
