Will eft still operate in and out of a locked account? I may not be able to login, but perhaps I can still access.

.
If the account is truly Locked, then 'Locked' is 'Locked' ... so an EFT wouldn't work.

But then ... whatiya gonna to lose, from giving-it-a-try ?

Let us know how it goes sf-smile

Is there a reason you don't want to, or can't, have it unlocked?

They want me to come to a branch to prove identity. Not so easy for me.

Okay, I did two deposits and two withdrawals over 5 days. I have waited until all of the pulled funds were released from hold. There have been no reversals, so unless someone knows of a specific time needed to clear EFTs, it looks like I can still pull funds from the “locked” account. The “locked” meaning just online login and not “frozen”.

Locked and frozen may be different at different companies.

I forgot my Visa card at the bank and immediately called Visa to put a hold on the card, until I could find it. I located it the next day and called Visa back to release the hold. I had a pre-authorized bill payment scheduled for the same day and did not think anything about it. I only realized that Visa had refused to accept the payment, some days later, when I saw the funds still in my account. The interest charges will be reversed, but I found it odd that they would refuse a payment. I could understand that they would (should) have stopped any outgoing transactions.
