It's up to you but I think both partners ought to be able to access a complete statement whenever they want to.

Getting back on course. I agree with what you are saying. I wonder if it is a flaw or a lower cost from the third party. To generate a statement based on primary and secondary account owner must be more costly to program? And there should be no different treatment for a joint account just because of the words PRIMARY and SECONDARY are used. But you are right...if joint... and if accounts and passwords are secret as they are supposed to be amongst spouses......then each should be able to receive identically the same information.

Next week I will do my month end of my numerous bank accounts and I also think Hubert does the same...but worse. Will report back!!!

I know nothing about the cost of anything in terms of computer programming. My brain thinks that it would be cheaper to just create one statement and send it to both people.

I don't have anything joint at Hubert, so don't know how they do it. (Bad enough with single!)
Let us know how you get on.

It is a simple process to change statements. Everything takes time.

Yes, I remember the "men only" rooms too, which were often quite unattractive - to put it mildly. Guys would be trying to get a woman to invite them into the "Ladies and Escorts" side. Groups of women would go to "tea rooms". All of this in my lifetime!

Loonie do you want to add your Peoples Bank statement concerns to here???
