I just won an auction on eBay of a used Palm Pre from a guy in Vancouver. The phone seems to need activation to be used. I just want to use that phone on a Wifi at home and use the calendar and get some applications I need for my work.

Do you know how I make a Palm Pre to work without having a contract with a provider and if yes, how do I unlock a cellphone?
