Hi Nancy!!!!

First of all I'd like to welcome you into our financial discussions here!!!! You'll definitely get some great tips and advice on getting the most out of your money.

To start, why not tell us a little bit about yourself? Which province do you reside? What is your current financial situation? Where is your money currently invested in? Any info would be appreciated and feel free to check out my financial situation under the forum "YOUR STORIES" and "THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME RICH", it is a life changing story and you may even apply that article to your situation too!!!

Nancy reads Roc's posts.
Nancy goes in Your stories section and opens Thank you for making me rich thread.
Nancy reads Roc's stories.
Max hears a door slam.
Max hears tire burns and car accelerating.
Nancy's gone forever.

The day you become free is the day you work for fun.

Is Nancy your girlfriend or something? If you can hear her car tires spinning you must be together?

Anyway it doesn't matter, I already have a solid fan base here!!!!Thousands of viewers log in here daily to read my threads to see what excellent advice I will offer next. I mean let's face it, wouldn't you rather read about a guy who's financially set for life like myself or read about someone who is flat broke like yourself Max?

Out of all the members in here, I will go on the record and say (not to sound arrogant or conceited) without a doubt I am the richest person in here!!!! Think of me as the Jim Basillie(Blackberry Billionaire) and having lots of money in the bank and sharing that information to my readers gives me pleasure and joy to helping you in your quest to financial freedom!!!

First Donald Trump and now Jim Balsillie??? They are each worth several billion and, as far as I know, pay for their own food and utilities month after month. At the very best, you might have a shot of becoming the William Hung of the personal finance world.

Your net worth puts you at around the 70th percentile of family units in Canada, meaning that 30% have a higher net worth. That's not bad, but then again it's nothing to write home about (although in your case you wouldn't even need to write). Just about anyone with their mortgage paid off has a higher net worth than you.

Let's keep the personal discussions in the Your Stories sub-forum and definitely refrain from any personal attacks.

Remember, this thread is to welcome Nancy!

Roc my man, why do you set yourself up to be judged by your peers only to be found lacking?

Hey, I do congratulate you on your savings, good job! Now, "because you have money doesn't mean you are rich in life". That little quote you won't find written in a book or on CNBC, but it's as true as the sun comes up each morning.

The next think you might learn is rich people do not talk about how much cash they have in the bank. It's poor upbringing to do so.

Mike,

No disrespect here but I firmly believe that success is measured by the size of your wallet. If you look at a homeless person on the street pushing a grocery buggy with clothes and food inside, Do you consider that success??? or if you see a Wall Street executive on the street in a business suit carrying a briefcase, wouldn't you agree that he is successful???

The goal in life is to try and get as much wealth and money as possible so that you don't end up like that "homeless guy" on the street. I have secured my money to the point right now that it is mathematically impossible for me to be that homeless guy on the street. The only way for me to end up homeless is for Peoples' Trust to go bankrupt so I'd lose $225,000.00 since I'm only insured for $100,000.00. But we both know that will never happen!!!!

Peter, I think it's safe to say that you've attracted your first bona-fide troll to your site! I'm not sure whether to congratulate you or feel sorry for you...

1. A homeless guy can save money if he was living with his parents who were paying for all his bills
2. Not everyone in a suit is successful. Just think of all those suckers when wall street crashed.
3. Ever hear of the expression "money isn't everything"
4. Congrats on all the money but put it to some use and buy a house. What good is money if you're not going to spend it. Not sure if you know Roc but you can't buy yourself into heaven... not that i believe in that since im an Atheist.
5. I work for 1 of the big 5 banks and find that the more money people have, the more arrogant they are.

I'm not trying to grill you Roc but it sounds like you think you're better than everyone else and everyone in here is just trying to knock you back down to earth.

You guys think I'm a troll??

According to the Wikipedia Encyclopedia the defintion in internet slang of a troll is:

"A troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional or disciplinary response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."

There's no way I'm a troll!!!!Have you seen how many people have read and responded to my blogs in the "YOUR STORIES" forum???Hundreds of people have!!!Why?? Because people enjoy reading what I have to say, they know I speak the truth and I'm genuine and sincere in my comments.

If Peter wanted to stop me from posting, he would have banned me a long time ago!!! Why?? Because I generate revenue for him, I make Peter a lot of money since the more that people come in here and read my blogs the more money he gets from advertising and sponsers!!!!
