Can we just rename this thread in an "oily" way? sf-confused

I liked the fact the thread was opened up, mainly because another thread was "hijacked", and this could have been a pure reference/discussion on the topic. But predictably, look what happened.

Rant over. Carry on (90%) slinging Russian oil vs. inflation vs. US open taps etc.

I know the primary interest on this Board is how much interest can we safely earn on our money. However, there are many factors that affect interest rates and safety of our money I think it is a good idea to discuss some of those factors sometime.
