Interesting Globe & Mail Q&A article

I want to leave my adviser, but I’m nervous. Invest now, or wait for a correction? (Friday, Aug. 05, 2016)

A good summary of the things to consider when thinking of becoming one's own investment manager.

I am 75% DIY. I know my numbers and when to sell. Nothing to wait for other than those numbers; one is almost there and rising and others coming close. I would say do what you need to if it fits your parameters (no loss and reasonable gain expected).
