Forge Online Banking launches with First West Credit Union | General financial discussion | Discussion forum

First West Credit Union has surprised with news that they will be the first credit union in Canada to convert from the MemberDirect online banking platform to Forge digital banking from Central 1.

FirstOntario Credit Union has already launched the Forge-powered public website and is working on migrating to Forge digital banking along with Alterna Bank and Alterna Savings.

So if you bank with Motive Financial, Alterna, and any other MemberDirect-powered credit union or bank, expect to see a migration to Forge in the next 2-3 years, at most, as Central 1 will likely stop servicing MemberDirect at that time.
