Electronic Statements

Hello,

I am wondering what the discussion forum's thoughts are on electronic statements. I have been receiving bills and bank statements electronically for many years but have been hesitant to receive my credit card statements electronically.

Any thoughts on electronic statements for credit cards? Any pros/cons of electronic statements/bills you wish to share?

Thanks,

Jman

I like electronic statements because they can be saved in multiple locations: most institutions will save them for up to 7 years; you can save them locally; and you can save them in your e-mail service.

Canada Post lost a lot of my mail (and continues to do so to this day...). Anyway this was the reason I switched to electronic everything five years ago. Never looked back.

after seeing how random my mail delivery is I was uncomfortable having any kind of financial documents being handled by canada post. I was missing some stuff that neighbours would bring over when they got them by mistake and sometimes would get other peoples mail too. The postal system has a lot of confidence to restore!
