It became partially a Canadian thing as well; see Did YOU Remember?

Does it count if I opened a Disnat discount brokerage account and transferred into it money from my accounts at the Big Six?

Bob I think that would count..

While I'm really not following the Occupy Wallstreet and anystreet movement.. I like Bank Transfer Day it is a good idea.. At least to get people to review what is out there.. I would of never found Hubert if I wasn't fed up with some aspect of my current bank or CU.. I brought change to TD in a jar on the 4th and they told me to roll it up and bring it back or take it to a penny arcade machine which I've heard are unreliable. So I brought it back rolled on the 5th and the teller miscounted and/or inputted the wrong number for deposit and now I am out $5 at the moment.. I didn't ask for a deposit receipt or statement silly me.. Even when I asked for my withdrawal limits to be raised I wasn't even asked how much.. It just seemed very impersonal to say the least.. Mind you this is the first time I've been into a branch in almost 4 years.. I hope I get my $5 back I should call the easyweb hotline or something I guess..
