About 2 weeks if I get it by Friday. Money is supposed to arrive in 5 business days which is tomorrow.

That's pretty good. I applied on the first night, then they sent an email a week later saying they wanted proof of spouse's residence. That whole process burned up almost 2 weeks, but it only took 2 days to get into our account after I received the confirmation and 5 day heads-up.

Yup ... things have speeded up a Lot, since then . I applied for ours yesterday, and ~ 2 hours later, they had already sent me the confirmation email.

With any luck, they'll deposit our $1K Benefit, sometime late next week.

Update . . .

Late yesterday I received their 'approval' email (it only took 2 days), indicating that our $1K benefit will be deposited in our bank account "within 5 business days".

Can't complain about that ❗ sf-smile

2nd Update . . .

Four days later (today) the BC Benefit Recovery Program deposited $1,000.00 into our bank account.

As already mentioned ... at least half of that $1K will be donated to our local Food Bank, and the rest will be held in savings to help cover the HUGE Federal & Provincial Tax Increases, that are sure to follow when this pandemic is over.

Hang On To Your Hats, Folks

In Ontario I am not so sure we will have large income tax increases. Time will tell. Enjoy the day.

Have a Great Day
