Compounded, which is competitive against Simplii. However, is bureaucratic in that no manual transfers; must call VanCity (a) to set up a new Jumpstart promo account (prior ones don't apply) and (b) to transfer into the promo Jumpstart account at each instance.
If you have an existing Jumpstart account, do not use it for this promo. Call to set up a new one for this promo, and then call again for any individual (new) deposits.
Pick your poison. Simplii (targeted; not compounded but easier) or VanCity (general offer; compounded but call CSR each instance). I'm ignoring the RBC/HSBC promo (smirk).

What do you mean by ...(b) to transfer into the promo Jumpstart account at each instance? Thanks

Fritz23: I have a large deposit in this promotion. One DOES have to call in to enable any deposit eligibility for the 6% promotion.
For each deposit or addition, I transferred cash into my VanCity Gold account, then called in to have it moved to and declared eligible for the 6% JumpStart. The criteria aren't as strict as some, but they prefer to have an agent confirm things are kosher. I haven't made a withdrawal yet, but the agent said they expected that money added after the account was opened, but withdrawn and then redeposited, would be allowed. I specifically asked if money needed and used for something like rent or a tax bill could then be replaced.
I haven't tested that yet.
