Oaken
They have a useless monthly statement that they debated charging a $2 fee.
It only shows your savings balance and not your investments. And who holds cash in Oaken’s savings account?

Home Trust Visa
No tap and you cannot change the PIN number. And also the user name for online access is case sensitive. Second card is identical to main card...if one is comprised and shut down so is the other. This is a credit card from the 1970’s. I have yet to use this card for a store purchase.

Implicity has my email address and no notification of Birthday special as found here.

Accelerate has my email address and no notification of $50 and $100 bonuses as found here.

As my GIC purchases slowly move to Oaken’s best rates they could have stayed at Implicity or Accelerate if I had known.

It is a worth while effort to turn on ALERTS on your Credit Cards and Bank/Credit Union Accounts.

I just printed my statement and screen printed all other investments not shown on statement. I noticed that when you click on the Home Trust tab and the Home Bank tab....there is no grand total on the Home Bank tab.

Well I am happy with Oaken service and can't complain.

Regarding Home Trust CC, I applied but they denied my application. Lol. Did I care? No. I got Rogers World Elite that actually gives me 0.5% back on foreign transactions.

And Canadian Tire World Elite which gives free Gold road side assistance.

Never tried nor had an account with the other two. For now, Meridian and Oaken have my money.
