Interestingly, the previous (older) BMO "App" was not an APP at all, but simply a link that launched your browser in Android to display the mobile view of the BMO website.

The "new" BMO App is an Android App located here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bmo.mobile

in the Google App Store that contains the mobile banking feature.

The one potential obstacle to downloading the BMO App is that your Google account has to be Canadian based, so if you have a cellphone set up with your Google account based in the U.S. or anywhere else, the BMO App cannot be downloaded.

This outdated restriction based on Google account origin is also present with the TD Canadian App and the Meridian App that I am aware of.

No restriction as to Country of Google account origin is placed on Apps for Hubert, Wealth One and Alterna to my knowledge.

These are the FI's with which I have first hand experience.

I have no experience with IOS Apps.
