Hi,
Thanks for your helpful site!
Wondering why Altamira's 3.10% High-Interest CashPerformer is not included on your chart?
I'm looking for a place to put my house savings, and this seems like a good option...
Best,
WW

Very interesting. Does anybody else have any experiences with this account?

I find this a bit weird:

"When you invest in High-Interest CashPerformer, Altamira deposits your money in an account opened for you at National Bank of Canada, which is a member of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC)."

So the company that offers you customer service (Altimira) would not actually be the company that holds your money?

I wonder if this is like the relationship between PC Financial and CIBC?

Regarding the Altimira - National Bank relationship, I've been told that:

"About 5 years ago National Bank had bought Altamira but ran it as a separate entity
without integrating it. Now they are integrating Altamira into the National Bank. Also, the website will be part of the National Bank's website."
