Also their phone message is a lie, been saying it'll be about an hour for hours now.
Coincidence that Simplii is offering 3% today? Or maybe it's just first day of the month.

Still down, this is forever in millennials' terms. And not sure a pull will work right now - on the phone they told me they can't transfer for me as their whole system is down. I told them their site has always seemed "fragile" to me and suggested it might be an idea for an online bank to prioritize the solidity of its computer systems.

I pulled from the other bank last night and the fund is showing up on Samplii now. Let's enjoy 4 months of 3% for now.
Hopefully EQ doesn't punish us  Â
I wonder how it is done when you state you pulled from the other bank to Simplii? The way I have to do it is to initiate a transfer from EQ Bank first to my BMO account and then I can transfer funds from BMO to Simplii. It takes days but the worst of it is that I have been trying to access my EQ account for 2 days without success and now they appear to have turned off the phone as well. Looks like they are having a run on their bank or something? In order to link EQ with Simplii for instance, would you not require a cheque from a checking account at EQ to mail to Simplii or is there a simpler way. Sorry if I sound naïve but I am in my eighties and don't have toys like cell phones with cameras etc.
Thanks for any advice.

Not working for me. Can't log in. Webpage looks funny...as if the site has been hacked. I am using Chrome x64Â Â
Earlier, the sign in page was working for Internet Explorer but not for Chrome. Yes, it did look mangled under Chrome.
It is better now. Both Internet Explorer and Chrome are working.

Just received from EQ by email:
Please note that our online banking website and mobile app have now been restored. Unfortunately, the system performance issue happened at the worst moment possible – at the beginning of the month when people are trying to pay the bills. You depended on us, and we let you down.
Our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your patience. This is not the customer experience we aspire to provide. We can and will do better.
Sincerely,
Dan Dickinson
