In addition, EQ's 1-year rate is now exceeded by Hubert's at 2.85% average rate..

I believe Vatox is referring to these current rates:

3, 6, 9 months 2.35%
1 year 2.80%
15 months 2.90% (interest compounded and paid at maturity)
2 year 3.01%
27 months 3.05% (interest compounded and paid at maturity)
3 year 3.25%
4 year 3.30%
5 year 3.52%

Received email today:

To help our clients reach their savings goals faster, we're excited to offer a special high interest rate of 3.00%* on a 15 month GIC.

The gic rates 1-5 for EQ are unchanged, but I did notice it's not updated on the day for EQ. Meridian is stalled way behind too.

Thanks for the heads up. I've updated the script that generates the GIC chart now. I reached out to Meridian because their site only shows a promo 3-year rate for non-registered investments and am waiting for them to update their site.

EQ matches Oaken now with the 1 year rate increasing to 3.1%. I still like the 3.33% 3 month deal the best.
