Regarding my initial post, yes I was referring the TDB8150.
I would like to extend my thanks to all those that have contributed to my question. I did not know about these accounts until I came across the great information on Mr Thriftys web site discovered through these forums.
I have been a long time TDW self-directed investor. As I had a large amount of cash that needed parking, I went on a search for a place to earn high interest. After searching this website and asking a few questions about opening a HIS account I settled on EQ Bank. This worked out well, but I got lazy in checking my EQ accounts to see how they were doing. I was shocked to see interest rates were stuck at 2%.
My intentions were always to move everything back under TDW once the equity and bond markets stabilize. Thanks to Mr Thrifty I discovered TDB 8150 and I currently have moved all my investment under one umbrella at TDW. There is now no need to search for higher cash parking rates.
Thanks again for this website and all the contributors

In these times of rising interest rates these products to park cash do presently seem to be following trend better than some hisa but do remember if & when rates go back down to < 1% so will they... cpg's and use ladders are prob a better way to go unless it is spare or temporary ca$h needed to be parked... as they say "catching falling knife" also seems appropriate when trying catch raising rates for a ladder -- a good rate for a 5yr today might look bad in a few weeks
