Got this email dated July 19th:

"And on that note, we’re pleased to announce a higher interest rate on
our US Dollar Account: introducing 1.40% interest* on every US dollar.

This rate increase went into effect on June 29th, 2022."

They seem a bit slow on the uptake these days. And speaking of which, isn't it high time that they finally raise their HISA rate?

Was just thinking the same ,if it doesn't soon ,I'm pulling 200k ,they use to be a leader. I'm waiting for GIC's to peak before locking in

My crystal ball is a little bit foggy due to this heath wave (ON) so it is not working as expected.

Crystal ball ?? I will bet they increase again sept 7th .5 . Just like the last guy with a crystal ball said I was full of it when I said 1% rate increase is likely. I guess my ball is a little clearer

I'm sure most people have read this before, but I'll cross post it here:
You can also get around 5% in a US HISA ETF at a broker, such as HISU, HSUV, PSU but they're not CIDC guaranteed.

Or a CIDC guaranteed ISA at a broker ( not WealthSimple ) such as DYN6005, RBF2015 and NBC201 , offering slightly lower- 4.5-4.9%
