Thanks for noticing that option, CB.
I just tried it but got this answer:
"This link has expired. Please contact the sender of the email for more information."
The email I was using was from March as I have deleted all the more recent ones. I'll watch for it next month and see if I have more success.
I think the link ought to work as it must surely lead to the same place regardless of which month we are in. However, "hwyc" above, #17, suggests that it doesn't work at all.

You peeked my interest for I dislike these emails too. So I started a chat with EQ to see if they could accomplish this for the July statement links do not work as we know. She said she could unsubscribe me and it would take a few minutes so I said please go ahead. In the meantime I looked back at my EQ emails and tried April, May with both saying the link is expired as you noted above. BUT June's email still had a working link so I unsubscribed my mother and wife using this June email. So now I will wait and see what happens in September....hopefully seeing no interest earned emails.

@Loonie and @krwilson (and others), those monthly "you've saved n" e-mail messages aren't exactly alerts; rather, they're promotional e-mail messages. Thus, I suspect if your goal is to unsubscribe from those, you'll also be unsubscribing from their irregular e-mail newsletters that include special promo rates or when they're offering referral bonuses. Something to keep in mind.
That said, you could always unsubscribe your spouse as @krwilson did and keep yourself opted in (or vice versa!).
Cheers,
Doug

Agreed, Doug, that it's not exactly an "alert".
However, the instruction to unsubscribe is specific to this notice about interest, so I think we won't lose other notices if we are able to unsubscribe. It reads "To unsubscribe from the Monthly Interest Summary, please click here."
I'll give it another try next month. If that doesn't work, I'll phone them.
I dislike that their default is to send these things. We should be required to opt in, due to the security risk. I think it more closely resembles promotion than useful information anyway.

I thought that may have been the case too, but it is not I hope. I should have taken a screen shot but when the link worked for June a page came up that was specific to unsubscribe only from these Savings Summary. There was an option below on this page to unsubscribe from all emails from EQ, I skipped this option of course. So I will wait till September and see what happens.

UPDATE: I received these "Savings Summary" on all 3 accounts again for August!
So, I went to the unsubscribe page again and chose on all 3 accounts to no longer receive the savings summary, but receive news, etc from EQ. The unsubscribe page appears to be changed and with more choices now. So I must now wait till October to see if this issue is resolved.

@krwilson I think I'll wait for your October result first.

These "Your (month) Savings Summary" email may be some work-in-progress. There is "unsubscribe" link at the bottom, which doesn't work for me. When I examine the embedded URL, it references some dude's email project.
The two links in my "Your August Savings Summary" email now point to unsub_center.aspx & subscription_center.aspx. These pages are nowhere to be found under my EQ online profile. Not sure how to re-subscribe once I unsubscribe. On the other hand, the "YTD interest earned" amount reported in the email is found nowhere else on EQ online. And hence I am relunctant to unsubscribe at this point.
p.s. It is also a privacy blind spot to me if I cannot verify these subscription settings under my EQ online profile.

Did anyone manage to get the unwanted information stopped this month?
I, too, got the damn email across 3 accounts. I clearly unsubscribed last month on all 3 but still coming! I did the unsubscribe again yesterday but have no hope they will will stop at this point.
EQ Bank you need to fix this huge annoyance. Plus it makes you look incompetent.
