I keep an excel spreadsheet to track the movement of my DUCA a/c's but it's not easy! I'm confident that my interest earnings are accurate for the few I've tested but their lack of statements or even online searching is infuriating!

Are you sure there aren't any statements for DUCA accounts?

Their fee schedule for personal accounts mentions free e-statements, free online statements, and $2/month for paper statements.

Yes, they do produce statements. I can't remember if they are monthly or quarterly.

I make sure to include the new Class A shares and interest on them in the January interest; and put the value of said shares into the assets side along with the savings account tally and membership share.

I see statements to Sep, so possibly quarterly and it only seems to be for the EMSA. What I need is a list of investments (GIC's, RRSP'S,RIF's etc) showing rates and, more importantly, term so that when an investment is coming up on renewal I can decide how to reinvest - they don't have anything like that. So I keep a spreadsheet which is a lot of work and a bother.

Yes, they are quarterly. I just checked. So you should have one next week.

I put the due dates in my calendar as well as in financial records. I put them in when I first buy the GIC, and then it just carries forward. Some people here probably have even tighter systems.

It's ALL time-consuming and a bother! I just look on it all as work in exchange for money. It has paid me very well, but I'm the sort who has, since childhood, always enjoyed playing with money.

When I get a new investment I just go to "My Accounts" then select "Rename Accounts" and then I name them according to my needs.
For example, TFSA GIC(FLEX30@2.6%)DEC3120
This would mature on December 31 2020. So at a glance I have the type , term , rate and the maturity date is at the end of the line .
I also keep a spreadsheet and have the investments lined up by maturity dates and not start dates. It works better for me as it's all top down ( the matured ones are all on top ).

Both great suggestion! In fact I only just finished 'renaming' some a/c's in the online portal to make more sense (we have joint which includes my TFSA's and RRSP's) and then hubbies TFSA's and RRSP's under another a/c. I have +60 a/c's so the spreadsheet works for me. The suggestion of a maturity date column I'll do today which will make it easier for laddering renewals (I've already gotten caught short when we bought a new car - now I know to ladder)
I was in touch with their member support via email, I have one contact that I work with exclusively and she is excellent. She mentioned the spring conversion they're working on (assume this is when they go Canada wide?). She had contacted me a few months ago asking if I'd offer suggestions on new statements and I was eager to help - I'm hoping it is better - certainly can't be worse!
