Logged in this morning and they automatically moved the money from Park acct back to the earn more savings acct. Not sure what will happen if one has setup post dated transfer from Park acct to external and Park is now $0
From what I was told, can't pull from Park. You would have to request them to transfer to Savings.

Opening Meridian joint account Jun 1st on line (I was surprised it has joint account), account ready to go same day, pretty straight forward process (need sin numbers from both parties).
Wonder if I should push from DUCA to Tangerine account or do a pull. Decided to push on Monday to Tangerine then issue cheque to Meridian.

Sounds like a plan -- just remember that the DUCA push-out limit is $50K per day and $200K per week, so depending on how much money you're dealing with, things may take longer than one day before you can write that cheque to Meridian

That's new info to me -- so no daily restriction besides having to enter your transfers in $50K chunks as long as you stay under $250K per month? That would make my life easier on Monday because I only have a bit less than $150K left to pull beyond the $100K I already took

Can you pull out more than 250k if I do the pull via Tangerine, as opposed to doing the push from Duca?

No, 50k daily, 250k weekly, 2M monthly.

Last time I asked on the phone a CSR replied I can pull an "unlimited amount" (in her own word) but of course it has not been verified. I chose to push my money out of DUCA this time and yes it 50K max per day.

FWIW, my push 50k out of Duca at around 9:30am yesterday arrived today before 9:30am in Tangerine account.

Yeah, I haven't had any problems pushing money out either -- every transfer gets executed overnight notwithstanding their "this may take several days" warning
One more to go and I'll be done

Looks like I might have jinxed it when I posted yesterday that all my transfers were going smoothly every 24 hours, because the one I initiated on June 5th is still sitting in my DUCA account as of 5 minutes ago. However, their system didn't stop me from booking another transfer out today, so I guess the June 5th outbound is just stuck in the queue

I wonder if I should keep Duca account open for future promo or just close it out (in case the future promo is for new member only).
Anyone has experience with this?

Hisahopper. I would.
I went to cancel mine after the promo ended in December. In 3 months later they were the best high interest on the market again.
Also if you're not from Ontario, you can no longer open a duca account.

If I were running DUCA, I might not want you back as a member, and I might charge you an annual fee for maintaining a membership you don't use.
But maybe I'm just a mean old cuss.
