Thank you very much for this info. I did apply and got approved for 13K. Approval process is rather interesting... they contact credit bureau and pull your recent activity and ask questions based on your record.
Now, lets wait for the card.
Do you mean that they ask questions of the customer? If so, what kind of questions?

Strange - literally just got off the phone with Tangerine credit card customer service rep, and he was baffled. Application was received and assigned review pending. He was baffled because according to the documentation he had in front of him, Tang has yet to officially launch the full release version of their MasterCard service, and is not planning to do so "for a few weeks".
He went on to say that existing clients should not even be able to access, let alone apply for a credit card, their credit application page at the moment. Alas, we are able too. The CS couldn't rationalize as to why. Could be miscommunication down the chain of command?
Just a heads up of my experiences today with Tang.

The way I figured out is that they download your previous life history and compile about 5 questions; each question has 3 answers and you have to select correct one.
I have been asked: what was my previous address, most recent credit card applied for, previous employer, and forgot other 2.
I guess, if you miss one they would suggest to call cust. rep. and prove that you are you.

Oh, I see. Thanks.
I thought maybe you meant credit-worthiness questions, and couldn't figure out what they might be.
They'd have a tough time with me as I haven't had a job, applied for a credit card or moved in a long time, and I don't think they have any of that info! I think I was asked mother's-last-name type of questions in the past though.
