2) You need to have spent a minimum of $20 to qualify for the redeem rewards or statement credit, but does anyone know what would happen if in one particular year you only used, let's say, the card once and spent $10. Obviously this would not qualify you for the rewards or credit statement, but what happens to that $10 reward opportunity? Does it roll over the next calendar year that can be used or do you lose it?
Previous discussion looked at the terms and conditions. It looked like the earned reward points in the Fido Rewards Account don't expire and carry forward to the subsequent calendar year.

Read your other post, thanks for the info. I was mostly concerned with losing the ability for the statement credit, not really concerned with FIDO rewards as I'm not a customer. A little disappointed I'd lose the credit statement if I forget to call in based on your post, but do we know this for sure?
Also, I just thought of this, since you typically call in one month before the year end (December) does anyone know if you are given a confirmation #? I just hate to experience that I do my due diligence by calling in and then something happens where I didn't get my credit in January of the new year and I don't have something to confirm the transaction.

I don't think that's what was found.
My understanding of the terms and conditions is, regardless of whether one is a Fido customer, Rogers customer, or neither, there is a Fido Rewards Account with the Fido MasterCard. The rewards account earns
- 1½ points for every dollar of purchases charged in Canadian dollars and
- 4 points for every Canadian dollar worth of purchases charged in a foreign currency.
Each point seems to be worth 1¢ in cash back.
There is the option, once a year, to call in and redeem accumulated points for a statement credit. If one forgets to call one year, those points will still be there for the opportunity for a statement credit in a subsequent year.

OK great, I must have misread your post. Thank you for clarifying.
