If you go down the page, you will see links to several credit cards. They say that if you apply for most of these credit cards through their link, you will get an additional benefit, e.g. $50 rebate.

I haven't done this, so can't say if it works, but perhaps someone would be ready to apply for one of these and would want to try it.
If so, please let us know if it works.

I seem to have discovered a whole new route to getting a little free money.
Here is another way that you can apparently get an additional benefit from signing up for a new credit card. The benefit come in the form of an electronic gift card to amazon.ca This one covers a number of Scotia cards, including all the Momentum cards, as well as limited offerings in other brands.
