Why is there a forum for Coast Capital and yet no posted rates for HISA or GIC?? Would it not make sense to drop the forum if there are no rates posted? Like a few others as well.

Let's face it Coast Capital.....there is nothing of any value to talk about them.

That is the case for a number of institutions that are not on the chart. This policy has been discussed here a number of times. The chart would be too noisy to include rates but there are a number of reasons why one would have accounts with Coast Capital and worthy of discussion. Examples include national scope, CDIC insurance, business accounts, etc.

Does anyone who doesn't live in the West have an account with CC? If so, I'd be interested to hear why. It just doesn't register with me as an option. The federal thing never seemed to get off the ground. The last time they had a good offer, as far as I can remember, was before they went federal.
I just looked on their site and couldn't find any savings rates listed at all but perhaps I missed something.

What is there to discuss?
Strange how some people feel that because they are not needing something, it somehow means there is no value for others.

If you are not interested in a thread, just don't follow it.
