Effective Feb 2, 2011, new deposits will earn an extra 0.65%, or earning 2% when combined with the regular interest rate. The offer lasts until June 30, 2011.

I don't get this gimmicky offers made by these banks??? I've been saving my money at both ING Direct & Achieva Financial for over 10 years. In fact, Achieva consistently has some of the best savings and term deposit rates throughout this period. They're currently are paying 2% with no catches for pretty much all of last year and ING is paying 1.5%.
