So in my e-mail today I get an offer from CIBC to receive 3.5% for a one year GIC if I renew my upcoming GIC of $4K maturing in 10 more days.

I go on-line to check out my account and right after signing in they have the same offer (to accept now, remind me later or to turn the offer down). So I opt for remind me later. Then it takes me to my account. I click on "products" button then unregistered GIC's and low and behold they are offering 3.75% for their one year.

Funny.

Today when I logged into my account, I could not access until I either accepted their offer or decline it. I declined. My account then showed with a banner saying that the good news is I still have until Dec 5th to take advantage of their offer!!
