Implicity Financial, a "virtual banking" branch/division of Entegra Credit Union, remains at 2.0% for their HISAs. It could be, in this case, they're simply adopting the model of the other Manitoba CUs whereby the "parent" CU has a lower HISA rate than their "virtual banking" branch/division.

In Outlook's case, it could be them being awash with deposits and not needing to attract them as aggressively as much or they're trying to take advantage of less competition with Ally's demise or potentially something more serious with their regulator.

Cheers,
Doug
