Just to share a recent experience, on Sunday I pushed $25K from a HISA at Alterna into a linked CIBC chequing account, and the funds appeared at CIBC before the end of business on Monday. I then pushed another $25K the next day and it similarly arrived at CIBC within 24 hours. I'm not crazy about having to follow Alterna's gating policies on withdrawals but I can't complain about the transfer speed

My impression has been that Alterna has been getting more timely with transfers, although I have not followed it this closely.

My experience with Alterna's withdrawal transfers has been that they are processed very quickly as well, usually within 24 hours.
