Just noticed - Alterna Bank eSavings further dropped slightly to 2.25% quietly 🙁

May be they want people to go for their 1 yr GIC ? Appears to be inverted w.r.t. 2-5 years term

Looks like the TFSA is down to 2.25% as well.

The last savings account decrease was on April 12, 2019 (2.35% down to 2.30%).

The last TFSA decrease was on August 28, 2019 (2.35% down to 2.30%).

I won't trust the sporadic eSavings & GIC rates I saw on Alterna bank website this morning.

[EDT 10:08 am] Now it is same as yesterday.
[Nov 7] So they launched a new website sf-confused

The one year rate has also recently decreased, from 2.5 to 2.4
